A fashion brand is seeking an experienced
Technical Designer
to support intimates and shapewear categories. This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for executing the technical design process from development through final fit while ensuring quality, consistency, and cost targets are met. Responsibilities
Execute technical design from development through final approval Analyze garments and develop accurate fit specifications Lead or participate in fittings and write clear, actionable fit comments Communicate pattern corrections and approvals to vendors and factories Maintain tech packs, BOMs, and sample approvals Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and Sourcing Ensure products meet fit, quality, and manufacturing standards What We’re Looking For
7+ years of Technical Design experience (intimates or apparel preferred) Strong ownership of fittings and fit communication Experience with Centric PLM, Flex PLM, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or equivalent experience Additional Notes
Typically reports to Technical Services Manager May provide guidance to Assistant or Associate Technical Designers Onsite 5 days per week in Manhattan To Apply / Comment
