Position Overview The Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES) Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility (DBME) is seeking

Customer Service Representative 2

professionals to deliver high quality journey level customer support to the public. This role involves providing program information assisting with services resolving customer concerns and accurately maintaining records.

local to Tucson AZ

able to attend

Key Responsibilities

Provide information to customers regarding programs services licenses registrations permits and eligibility.

Support customers via phone or in person by answering questions processing requests entering orders or updating accounts.

Resolve customer service or billing issues including adjustments refunds or order cancellations.

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions actions taken and outcomes.

Ensure customer concerns are addressed and appropriate changes or corrections are completed.

Refer unresolved issues or grievances to designated departments for further review.

Determine service charges collect deposits or payments and arrange billing as required.

Contact customers for follow up communication claim results or updates.

Conduct research and apply policies/procedures to resolve complex customer issues.

Handle monetary tasks such as adding receipts reconciling cash and preparing deposits for daily submission.

Required Skills

Strong customer service experience.

Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.

Skilled in resolving difficult customer inquiries or complaints.

Accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.

Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
