
Overview
Help technical companies discover how they can use AI to answer questions about their products. As part of our growing Commercial team, you\'ll build the outbound engine that connects product and engineering teams with kapa.ai, the platform that makes it really easy for technical companies to build RAG assistants and deploy them where their users or employees have questions. With 200+ companies now using kapa (including Docker, OpenAI, Reddit and many others), and having answered 5+ million technical questions, this approach has been proven at scale. Strong interest in AI and the ability to have intelligent conversations about technical topics like RAG are important (we\'ll help teach you though!). Responsibilities
Own pipeline generation through proactive outbound outreach to technical leaders, booking discovery calls between them and our Account Executives. This includes picking up the phone and crafting personalized messages to start real conversations about how AI can help them onboard more users, reduce support burden, and build modern product experiences. Qualifications
1+ year of sales/business development experience, ideally with outbound and cold calling experience Strong interest in AI and developer tools Resilient and coachable Based on the east coast to have easier overlap with European core team (incl. founders) Nice to have
Technical curiosity or experience talking to developer personas Builder mentality - you want to create processes, not just follow them Experience selling to technical buyers or in the developer tools space
