Senior Business Development Representative (US)

Help technical companies discover how AI can answer questions about their products, and help us build the playbook for doing it at scale. As a Senior BDR on our growing Commercial team, you'll drive pipeline generation while shaping the outbound strategies and processes that define how kapa.ai goes to market.

You'll own outreach to technical leaders at high-value accounts, booking discovery calls for Account Executives and contributing to how we think about messaging, segmentation, and cadences. This means picking up the phone, crafting personalized outreach, and bringing a point of view on what's working and what we should try next.

With 200+ companies now using kapa (including OpenAI, Reddit, N8N, and many others) and 10M+ technical questions answered, we've proven this works at scale. You'll help us figure out how to accelerate it.

Requirements

2–4 years of SDR/BDR experience with a track record of exceeding quota

Proven success with outbound prospecting and cold calling

Strong interest in AI and developer tools; ability to hold intelligent conversations about technical topics like RAG

Experience building or refining outbound processes, not just executing them

Based in NYC to co-locate with our east coast team and overlap with our European core team (including founders)

Nice to haves

Technical curiosity or experience talking to developer personas

Builder mentality - you want to create processes, not just follow them

Experience selling to technical buyers or in the developer tools space
