Our client a global professional services firm is seeking an experienced
Business Development & Marketing Manager
to join its Marketing team. This is a strategic, highly visible role partnering closely with senior stakeholders to drive business development initiatives across key practice and industry groups. Role Overview This position serves as a dedicated liaison to practice and industry leaders, helping to develop and execute business plans, marketing strategies, and client development initiatives. The Manager will play a critical role in deepening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and elevating the firm’s market presence. Key Responsibilities Practice & Client Development Partner with practice leaders to create and execute BD and marketing plans Identify growth opportunities using data, market intelligence, and competitive insights Manage BD infrastructure including experience databases, tracking tools, and collateral Support budgeting and ROI analysis for BD initiatives Coordinate research and cross-selling opportunities Support onboarding and integration of lateral hires Lead and manage RFPs, pitches, and proposals Develop tailored responses and presentation materials Prepare and coach pitch teams Support post-pitch follow-up and reporting Lead submissions for rankings, awards, and industry recognition Partner on client events and thought leadership initiatives Collaborate with communications and PR teams Support lawyers’ involvement in professional organizations Manage and mentor junior team members Oversee workflow, performance development, and collaboration Partner across departments on cross-functional initiatives Qualifications 8+ years of experience in marketing, business development within a firm.
