
Position Summary
Conceptualizes and writes engaging content for creative initiatives, campaigns, and projects (e.g., point‑of‑view advertisements, marketing campaigns, landing pages) by creating benefit‑ and feature‑oriented messaging; ensures on‑brand consistency; develops copy for vendors (e.g., content and advertising agencies); and updates and maintains existing creative assets.
Contributes to the development of the Content strategy by keeping up‑to‑date on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape; collaborates with management, business owners, and other cross‑functional stakeholders (e.g., Design, User Experience (UX)) to translate business objectives into actionable marketing messages; writes copy for strategic program components (e.g., seasonal marketing campaigns, brand shops); aligns product enhancements with Walmart's marketing goals; and partners with producers, designers, and business owners to deploy efficient workflow processes.
Maintains Walmart.com content guidelines and style guides by ensuring consistency and quality across the site experience; aligns company and vendor content with established brand standards; and maintains and evolves the content tone and voice of Walmart.com.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifies and communicates goals and objectives; builds accountability for and measures progress in achieving results; identifies and addresses improvement opportunities; and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
