Job Description - Sales Manager - New York Hilton Midtown (HOT0C9OX) Job Description Sales Manager - New York Hilton Midtown (HOT0C9OX) This hotel offers 1,878 elegantly appointed guestrooms and an impressive 150,000 square feet of versatile event space. With 49 meeting rooms, including the largest ballroom spanning 21,673 square feet, it’s an ideal destination for conferences, conventions, and upscale gatherings in the heart of Manhattan. Responsibilities

Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food, and beverage services, etc. Initiate new sales, prospect, and qualify leads and solicit potential clients Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts Conduct property site visits and answer questions Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost and potential business for the hotel. Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts Customer and Account Management

- Apply strong sales skills to create customer value. Differentiate Hilton from the competition and bring clear value to customers and the organizations they represent. Prospecting

- Demonstrate a mastery of the prospecting process. Identify potential customers. Prepare and implement your call strategy. Negotiations

- Understand the customer and the business leaders expectations. Adapt to a changing market. Customer and Account Management

- Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the Hotel. Develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events. Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for a designated market. Maintain up to date pipeline of business opportunities that will meet the short and long-term business objectives for the designated market. Represent hotel in all interactions dealing with their customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals and executing contracts. Conduct site inspections through masterful story telling with prospective and existing customers based on their individual needs. #LI-ZR1 What are we looking for?

Work pattern and compensation

Shift Pattern:

This role is primarily Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm with the ability to be flexible with their time to accommodate any client engagement events and site inspections. Salary Range:

Range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000.00 annually and will be aligned with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. This role qualifies to be part of the Hilton Sales Incentive plan that is paid quarterly, based on performance.
