What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Own and manage a broad Mid-Market book of business, focusing on new and expansion opportunities

Articulate the value of the AI-powered DevSecOps platform to mid-market prospects and customers

Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent prospecting and qualification of opportunities

Document buying criteria, decision processes, and key stakeholders to run disciplined sales cycles

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive pre- and post-sales experience

What is Required (Qualifications)

Experience selling SaaS solutions and leading value-based conversations with stakeholders

Ability to manage a mid-market territory, owning a book of business from prospecting to close

Skill in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, including effective negotiation and closing

Comfortable with outbound prospecting activity and maintaining accurate territory documentation

Clear and structured communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to various audiences

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Interest in GitLab, open source, and tools that support software development

Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events as needed

Experience working with development or DevSecOps teams
