Their technology supports the management of critical content, compliance processes, and operational data, enabling customers to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and maintain regulatory confidence.
The business is privately owned, internationally established, and following a clear growth trajectory supported by continued investment in sales and go to market functions.
The Role:
The Business Development Representative will play a key role in driving new revenue by building and qualifying pipeline for the wider Sales organisation. This is an outbound focused role suited to a commercially minded individual who wants increased ownership beyond entry level lead generation.
The role offers clear progression into full cycle sales, account management, or senior business development positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, engage, and qualify new B2B prospects through outbound activity
Own early stage discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, buying intent, and solution fit
Convert engaged prospects into sales qualified opportunities aligned to defined criteria
Build and maintain a consistent, high quality pipeline to support revenue targets
Work closely with Sales to ensure effective handover of qualified opportunities
Partner with Marketing on campaign follow up, events, and webinar engagement
Conduct account and market research to identify decision makers and tailor outreach
Maintain accurate and disciplined CRM management
Key Requirements:
Experience in business development, outbound sales, or lead qualification is advantageous
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable operating in a target driven, outbound environment
Experience using CRM systems and modern sales tools
Self motivated, resilient, and accountable for outcomes
Exposure to B2B software or regulated industries is beneficial but not essential
Degree level education is desirable but not required
