Key Account Manager . This is a critical role within the organisation, responsible for managing and growing one of the company’s most important strategic retail partnerships. As a Key Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for a leading DIY chain, aligning customer objectives with company goals to deliver sustainable sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy aligned to Home Depot’s business model and objectives Manage and grow sales revenue through effective product placement, pricing, and promotional activity Build and maintain strong relationships with key Home Depot stakeholders and decision-makers Act as the main liaison between Home Depot and internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional programs in collaboration with marketing and merchandising teams Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and identify opportunities to drive incremental growth Forecast demand accurately and work closely with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels Prevent stockouts and ensure Home Depot replenishment requirements are consistently met Prepare and present regular performance reviews, forecasts, and strategic updates to senior leadership and the customer Ensure full compliance with Home Depot’s operational standards, vendor requirements, and systems Manage participation in Home Depot vendor programs, maximising benefits and ensuring compliance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within Home Depot systems and processes Monitor market trends and competitor activity, sharing insights to inform pricing and product strategy Manage account budgets, including trade spend and promotional investment Track ROI on all initiatives to ensure financial targets and profitability goals are achieved What We\'re Looking For
3+ years’ experience in Key Account Management, ideally within retail or consumer goods Proven experience managing large retail accounts, preferably Home Depot or a similar big-box retailer Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making Excellent relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills Deep understanding of big-box retail operations, merchandising, and promotional planning Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and trade spend Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail analytics tools Strong presentation skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment For more information, please contact
