Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker position located in Austin, TX. As a Freight Broker, your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining client relationships, coordinating freight movements, managing dispatch schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments. You will negotiate rates, connect shippers with carriers, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, you will be expected to resolve issues promptly and foster partnerships that drive long-term success.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage practices to manage shipping processes effectively
Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build and maintain client relationships
Experience in Dispatching to facilitate smooth coordination of freight movements
Ability to negotiate effectively and provide cost-saving solutions to clients
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with logistics and transportation software systems
Previous experience in the logistics industry is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or freight management are a plus
