The Sales Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency: demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers and driving results. Responsible for upholding Coach’s Service and Selling Models, creating a positive first impression, building ongoing customer relationships through a personalized experience, and leaving a positive, lasting impression. Responsibilities
Sales Floor: Understands organizational objectives and makes decisions that align with Company priorities. Takes ownership and is committed to delivering results, while remaining actively aware of personal and store metrics; creates personal sales and clienteling strategies in partnership with the management team. Creates short- and long-term strategies to achieve personal metrics and performance goals. Takes ownership of personal survey results and creates plans to improve opportunities. Represents Coach as a brand ambassador and demonstrates Coach’s Selling and Service expectations at all times. Understands changes in local market and supports the execution of local sales strategies and tactics. Drives business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining ongoing productive relationships with customers. Creates positive impressions with customers by presenting a professional appearance aligned with Coach’s Guide to Style. Builds credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor with fashion knowledge and competitive awareness. Provides in-depth product knowledge, including features, benefits, current offerings, and overall product value; clearly communicates pricing and promotions. Discusses product features and builds the sale by leveraging cross-selling and adds-on techniques. Encourages cross-sells and product add-ons relevant to the customer’s needs. Tailors approach by reading cues and attends to unique shopping needs of each customer. Works with multiple customers and follows up consistently to influence/close the sale. Maintains a calm and professional demeanor at all times; remains solution-oriented and adaptable to changing business needs. Leads with teamwork, fostering an environment of collaboration with internal and external customers. Leverages Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts. Operations
Ensures all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards. Completes daily operational tasks including maintaining store, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards. Maintains a clean and tidy selling floor at all times. Adheres to all applicable retail policies and procedures including POS, Operations and Asset Protection. Replenishes inventory on the sales floor as needed and supports store inventory processes by processing shipments and organizing stock. Supports cash-wrap when needed to process purchases, returns, and exchanges. Efficiently processes customer transactions: Purchase, Return, Exchange, Found Order, etc. Maintains organizational standards for product storage and visual merchandising. Competencies

Experience: 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail; knowledge of fashion trends and competition. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Technical: Knowledge of POS systems, basic computer skills, iPad/laptop use, walkie talkies, and ability to read price/product release sheets. Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; ability to maneuver the sales floor, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (and up to 50 pounds for shipments). Schedule: Ability to meet scheduling expectations, including flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic. Company Competencies

Base Pay Range: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour. Tapestry will comply with all wage laws based on location. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Eligible employees may enroll in benefits and the 401(k). Additional compensation may include product discounts and incentive pay.
