Overview
HORIBA Industrial Process & Environmental is an industry leader in providing total solutions for protecting the environment and for industrial processing analysis. We measure air, water, process liquids, and soil quality and support the development of new energy technologies and environmental conservation. Our North American Industrial Process & Environmental group is searching for an experienced Sales Account Manager for Raman and other IPE Analyzers. This position is primarily a Sales Account Manager with some product support, located in the Pasadena, TX area. The successful candidate will be responsible for Raman product sales and related process solutions, working with distributors and sales management to expand U.S. coverage. The candidate will also perform the listed essential job functions.
Responsibilities
Supports distributors and regional partners with all sales and application activities for mainly Raman and other P&E products.
Develops and manages customer opportunities, including quotations, presentations, and follow-up on leads and inquiries.
Responds to technical and commercial inquiries, ensuring accurate product and application guidance.
Maintains and organizes product and application documentation to support sales efforts.
Conducts product demonstrations and technical presentations at customer sites, trade shows, and online meetings.
Assists with product evaluation, software/application testing, and feedback to product development teams.
Researches competitive technologies and market trends to support business planning.
Coordinates closely with sales management and operations to align activities with broader business objectives.
Skills/Experience Required
Requires experience in vibrational spectroscopy, working with technical data in a sales and marketing environment; typically gained through a scientific Ph.D. or equivalent of 5+ years work experience.
Ability to analyze and effectively respond to complex technical questions.
Ability to maintain and disseminate paperwork efficiently and accurately.
Ability to prioritize workflow.
Ability to coordinate all sales activities and to make technical presentations.
Good working knowledge of internal operations, policies, procedures, and products.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
Computer literate.
Compensation Package HORIBA offers
$100K base, plus target incentive pay can exceed $120K+. Position includes competitive benefits package
