What you will do As a Senior Field Sales Representative you will have the chance to build and execute strategies to build our your agency and sales plan including recruiting and inspiring new agents as well as creating depth in the existing agency relationships. Our regional sales representatives support our Middle Market, Small Commercial and Specialist lines (Auto Dealers, Educational Institutions) among all lines of commercial business to include Worker's Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, Commercial Package.
Develop and monitor territorial/state agency plans Spearhead agency/territorial review process.
Execute the entire life cycle of appointments including prospecting, soliciting, appointing, developing, and evaluating. Know and properly administer the various components of the customer bonus plan.
Manage Agency Production Initiatives by utilizing available marketing tools and sufficient submission activity to meet territorial objectives. Establish and monitor individual customer commitments (i.e., business plans, loans, overrides, bonus), and initiate corrective action where necessary.
Develop and monitor territorial/state line of business growth plans that are in adherence with the Marketing Plan Classifications.
Determine profitability by various methods, including but not limited to accident year loss ratios, calendar year loss ratios, allowable loss ratios, and return on sales (ROS) measurements.
Own loyalty and retention initiatives such as relationship building at all levels of an agency; develop rapport with industry peers and trade associations; coordinate territory functions/breakfast meetings; develop relationships with internal departments necessary to achieve corporate objectives; inform producers of new merchandising areas; use ACE to inform agent-customers of success/new business write, product enhancements, etc.
Develop and monitor territorial/state target market plans.
Special Projects–These might include: Rate reviews and coordinating the implementation of special programs such as new safety groups or mass merchandising programs.
Educate customers on product offerings, automation, forms and brochures, and Company procedures. Coordinate territory functions breakfast meetings, training sessions, product fairs.
Assist in development of new product/program-P&C proposals.
Gather competitive marketing intelligence regarding pricing, coverages, and market actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.
What you need
5+ years\' experience in P&C Commercial Lines marketing or underwriting preferred.
In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, including competitors, trends, and best practices
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead talent toward a common goal
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Significant insurance education, such as INS, AU, CPCU or the demonstrated willingness to pursue insurance education is strongly recommended.

This position also comes with eligibility for Variable Compensation Bonus plan
