Department : 70100 Wake Forest Ambulatory Ventures: Greensboro Medical Plaza Northwest - Surgery Center Status : Full time Benefits Eligible : Yes Hours Per Week : 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information : M-F, Day Shift Pay Range : $23.65 - $35.50 Schedule : Full Time, Monday through Friday. Day Shift. Summary : Supports delivery of patient care by purchasing and maintaining an optimum inventory level of supplies for High Point Surgery Center.

Responsibilities

Manages the purchasing/receiving of drug/supply orders from the wholesaler/suppliers

Manages the computer system set up with the wholesaler

Resolves purchase orders problems and billing errors when they occur

Manages the transfer expenses/billing for High Point Surgery Center

Maintains accurate prices in applicable computer system

Invoice: Tasks – Accurately posts invoices within 5 days of receipt

Upholds a professional working relationship at all times and adheres to department rules

Practices teamwork and adheres to Standards of Behavior

Performs other duties as assigned by management

Education and Training

Education:

High School Diploma, or GED

Additional programs: General Orientation and departmental training as required

Physical and Behavioral Requirements Physical requirements include occasional reaching; frequent sitting, standing, and walking; medium physical effort; visual and auditory requirements; touch to operate equipment; ability to manage stress in a pharmacy setting.
