
816 Collective is hiring a Community Outreach Specialist to join our growing team in Kansas City, MO. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, driving revenue, and representing a brand in the community. The Community Outreach Specialist will play a key role in executing marketing strategies, expanding partnerships, and supporting sales growth.
What You’ll Do
Achieve and exceed sales goals within an assigned territory
Execute sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing distribution partners
Implement creative sales and outreach strategies to meet channel needs
Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations
Prospect for new business and partnership opportunities
Attend industry events and trade shows to increase brand awareness
Participate in professional development and training seminars
Lead and mentor a team of 5–7 Sales Representatives, ensuring team and individual KPIs are met
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, marketing, or content creation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing
Comfortable using POS systems and sales tools
Reliable transportation to our Kansas City office
Professional, confident, and client-focused demeanor
