Enterprise Account Executive, Southern California; San Diego - United States fully Remote. Apply now. This position is based in the US, specifically the West Coast. All other locations are not currently being considered.

GitGuardian is a global post-Series B cybersecurity startup. We lead in Non-Human Identity security, offering end-to-end solutions from secrets detection in code and productivity tools to remediation, observability and proactive prevention of leaks. Our solutions are used by hundreds of thousands of developers worldwide.

We are looking for experienced Application Security or DevOps/DevSecOps Account Executives to drive growth. This role reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales, US.

Your Mission:

  • Identify, engage and build rapport with Enterprise prospects
  • Evangelize and develop a deep interest in GitGuardian’s product line
  • Facilitate the adoption and acquisition of new customers by building a pipeline of Enterprise accounts in your territory through outbound hunting, channel and events
  • Own a full sales cycle: nurture relationships with large buying teams (CISOs, CIOs/CTOs, security, engineering, DevOps/DevSecOps)
  • Frame and launch complex POCs/POVs with Sales Engineers
  • Build proposals and facilitate multi-pronged negotiations with internal and external procurement teams

Who You Are:

  • Demonstrated success as a large Enterprise Account Executive in a DevOps and/or AppSec environment
  • Minimum 4+ years of large Enterprise experience with nuanced sales cycles and procurement processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Track record of pipeline generation and quota attainment
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Familiarity with MEDDIC / MEDDPICC frameworks

The Interview Process

  1. Video call with a Talent Acquisition team member
  2. Team interview with the team and/or your future manager
  3. Business case to work remotely and present to the team
  4. Final interview with the CEO
