About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Global Asset Servicing to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the oversight of the accurate processing and reconciliation of complex investment transactions, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and data integrity. This role involves coordinating daily reconciliations of security masters, positions, and cash, as well as identifying and resolving data breaks or discrepancies in trades, holdings, and security master information. The VP will also be responsible for supporting portfolio and risk management data needs, managing LP investments, and assisting with the onboarding of new clients.
Applicants for the VP, Global Asset Servicing position at the company should hold a Bachelors degree in finance or a related field and have a minimum of 9 years' experience with reputable investment management firms, preferably in alternative credit or insurance asset management. Experience in investment operations, including middle office, back office, or treasury functions, is essential. Familiarity with data management platforms such as Black Mountain (Allvue), Everest, Geneva, and/or IVP is a plus. The role requires a candidate with a strong knowledge of various investment vehicles, including institutional separate accounts, SMA/limited partnerships, closed-end funds, UCITs, CLOs, and complex fund structures. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing ad-hoc client data requests and be prepared to escalate critical data issues to ensure accurate reporting.
