Role Overview
The PCB Layout Designer partners with electrical and mechanical engineers to convert schematics into high-quality, manufacturable PCB designs. This role focuses on high-speed, power, analog, and RF layout, verification, and documentation in a fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities
Create PCB layouts from schematics using Allegro, OrCAD, and/or Altium Perform high-speed, power, and analog routing; define stack-ups and impedance Verify layouts using HyperLynx DRC and resolve routing issues Generate Gerbers, BOMs, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation Collaborate on mechanical integration and 3D board modeling Support manufacturing and maintain design revisions in SAP Required Qualifications
AA in Electronic Technology with 5+ years experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 8+ years experience Strong experience in PCB layout, multilayer boards, and signal integrity Proficiency with PCB CAD tools Knowledge of EMC, RF performance, and manufacturing processes Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
