related newsletters . Newsletters are central to how we reach and engage our audience, and this position helps ensure they are accurate, compelling, on-brand, and performance-driven. The Associate Digital Producer works closely with the Lead Digital Producer to prepare, proof, test, and publish daily newsletters in a fast-paced tech news environment. In addition to newsletter production, this role supports broader digital publishing efforts, including article review, research, analytics, content distribution, and pre-publish quality assurance across platforms. This position begins as a

contract role, with the potential to transition to a full-time

remote staff position for U.S.-based candidates. Key Responsibilities

Support the daily production, formatting, QA, and publishing of digital newsletters Write, edit, and refine newsletter copy, headlines, previews, and calls-to-action Proofread and quality-check all newsletter content for clarity, accuracy, formatting, links, and compliance Schedule, test, and send newsletters using email platforms, ensuring consistent delivery across devices Coordinate newsletter content with articles, videos, sponsor placements, and breaking tech news Monitor and report on newsletter performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and engagement Assist with newsletter optimization, including subject lines, layout, and send timing Review and proof articles, scripts, and supporting copy for grammar, accuracy, and tone Research and verify story topics, sources, and claims as needed Manage WordPress updates, including article formatting, metadata, tags, and featured images Support interactive content modules, including games, quizzes, puzzles, polls, and other engagement features within newsletters Work within established automation and publishing workflows, helping QA automated sends, templates, and content handoffs across tools Create and resize basic visual assets and thumbnails using design tools Review and QA scheduled social media posts for accuracy, clarity, links, and brand voice prior to publishing Maintain organized editorial workflows, documentation, and publishing schedules Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in digital production, editorial operations, newsletter publishing, or content marketing Strong copywriting skills

with the ability to write clear, engaging, audience-appropriate editorial and promotional copy Deep understanding of email newsletters as both an editorial and engagement channel Exceptional attention to detail, especially around formatting, links, headlines, and data Excellent planning, time-management, and organizational skills Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong editorial judgment and written communication skills Curious, accurate, and thorough when researching and verifying information Comfortable reviewing and acting on performance data and analytics Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable Flexible schedule to support daily tech news and publishing cycles Tools & Platforms
