Bilingual Spanish Leasing Consultant
We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish Leasing Consultant with strong Tax Credit (LIHTC) and/or HUD experience to support an affordable housing community. This role is ideal for someone who is compliance-focused, resident-oriented, and confident navigating regulated housing programs while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Lease affordable housing units in full compliance with LIHTC and/or HUD guidelines Communicate fluently with prospects and residents in both English and Spanish Conduct property tours, follow up on leads, and convert qualified applicants Process applications, waitlists, and eligibility screenings Complete income certifications, verifications, and annual recertifications accurately Maintain organized, audit-ready resident files Explain program requirements, income limits, and rent calculations clearly Provide ongoing resident support and handle routine inquiries professionally Support occupancy goals while maintaining strict compliance standards Qualifications: Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Prior experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) and/or HUD affordable housing Leasing or property management experience Strong understanding of compliance documentation and timelines Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Excellent customer service and communication skills Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software Experience preparing for or supporting audits Fair Housing training or certifications Required Amount of Experience: 1-2+ years Is U.S. Citizenship Required? Yes
