CGL Consulting Co., Ltd
Head of Brand & GTM Marketing | Bay Area
We are an early-stage consumer technology company building a premium Deep Sleep System — a next-generation, dynamic sleep surface that adapts throughout the night to reduce physical stress and improve deep sleep continuity.
The product already has a working demo. 2026 will be our first full US go-to-market year, starting in the Bay Area with a high-touch, appointment-based, consultative sales model targeting high-end consumers.
We are looking for a 0→1 Marketing and Brand leader to own category positioning, brand execution, and the first GTM motion in the US.
Responsibilities
Own category positioning and messaging: define the category narrative (e.g. Deep Sleep System), differentiation, reasons-to-believe, proof points, FAQs, and objection handling
Build and execute the brand system: translate the brand foundation into a consistent system across website, decks, ads, demos, and sales materials
Lead 0→1 GTM execution in the Bay Area: design and run the first 90–180 day GTM plan from demand generation to in-person demos and close
Orchestrate cross-functional execution: partner closely with founders, sales, and product to iterate messaging and motion in real time
Manage external vendors and partners: branding/design, performance marketing, creative production; set weekly cadence and quality bar
Own funnel metrics and iteration: define KPIs across the full funnel (ads → landing → booking → demo → close) and run weekly experiments
Must-Haves
Proven 0→1 experience launching a premium consumer product or new category in the US
Strong balance of brand strategy and growth execution; hands-on and execution-driven
Experience with high-AOV, considered-purchase funnels involving booking, demos, or consultative sales
Excellent operator: able to run weekly sprints, ship quickly, align stakeholders, and manage vendors
Strong Silicon Valley / Bay Area connections, with access to high-end consumer and tech communities
Nice-to-Haves
Background in sleep, wellness, consumer hardware, or adjacent categories
Existing Bay Area network for early adopters, partnerships, and community activation
Solid understanding of performance marketing, CRO, and experimentation frameworks
Logistics Location: Bay Area (in-person)
Compensation Equity participation available; details shared at later stages
