A Nuclear Medicine Technologist with extensive hospital experience is needed for a contract position in Frankston, TX. This role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and other medications according to physician orders, performing diagnostic imaging studies, and maintaining quality control of imaging equipment. The technologist will support imaging and therapeutic procedures, process and enhance digital images, and collaborate closely with cardiologists during stress tests. Responsibilities include: Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications. Performing daily and weekly quality control dose testing. Operating GEHC NM Infinia and NEMIS/Xeleris 5.0 imaging equipment. Conducting nuclear medicine and treadmill stress tests alongside cardiologists. Processing images for diagnostic interpretation and maintaining detailed patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Ensuring cleanliness and routine maintenance of the work area. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum three years of recent nuclear medicine technologist experience in a hospital setting. Current ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification or CNMT registration. BLS certification through the American Heart Association (RQI not accepted). Familiarity with GEHC NM Infinia, NEMIS, and Xeleris 5.0 systems. Experience performing stress echocardiograms and treadmill tests. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
