Job DescriptionJob Description Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a hospital environment. This contract role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing quality control testing, and utilizing advanced imaging technology to assist physicians with accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications per physician orders. Perform nuclear medicine and treadmill stress testing under cardiologist supervision. Conduct daily and weekly quality control dose testing. Process and enhance digital images using advanced computer systems including Xeleris. Evaluate image quality and calibrate imaging equipment such as GEHC NM Infinia. Maintain accurate electronic health records utilizing Nemis and other platforms. Clean and sanitize patient rooms and work areas after each procedure. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and ACLS-certified staff for stress echo tests. Desired Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of recent nuclear medicine technologist experience in a hospital setting. Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or CNMT credential. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (RQI not accepted). Proficient with GEHC NM Infinia and Nemis/Xeleris 5.0 imaging systems. Experience performing treadmill stress tests and stress echocardiograms. Ability to operate effectively within an Electronic Health Record system. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean work environments. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM No weekends or on-call responsibilities Location Insight:This position is located in Palestine, Texas, a community known for its hospitable atmosphere and rich cultural heritage.
