A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to independently perform specialized imaging procedures with precision and care. This role focuses on general nuclear medicine and cardiology studies, requiring expertise in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and operation of imaging equipment. Attention to patient flow coordination and radiation protection is essential, as well as occasional duties in other imaging modalities as needed. Responsibilities: Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using appropriate techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration. Operate imaging equipment and conduct venipuncture within scope of practice and licensure. Coordinate patient flow and manage department activities while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Maintain imaging equipment to ensure proper function. May assist with additional imaging modalities based on operational requirements. Possible on-call responsibilities. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Associate degree in Allied Health specializing in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Required certifications: Nuclear Medicine registry, ODH licensure (pending acceptable), ARRT RT (R) and/or NMTCB. CPR certification. Preferred: One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine. Ability to exercise professional judgment and maintain compliance with safety standards. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5 days, 8 hours each).
