Lifecycle Marketing Manager (In-House/Hybrid)

We're seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own and scale our email and SMS ecosystem across our skincare and hair care brands. This in-house, hybrid role is responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue through best-in-class lifecycle strategy, automation, and optimization.
As a senior leader on the marketing team, you'll set the vision for owned channels, translate customer insights into high-performing journeys, and partner cross-functionally to influence product launches, brand storytelling, and long-term growth.
What You'll Do
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy for email and SMS across multiple product lines, from acquisition to retention and reactivation. Own campaign planning, execution, and optimization to drive measurable revenue and LTV growth. Architect and scale advanced automated lifecycle programs, including welcome/onboarding, cart and browse abandonment, post-purchase education, replenishment, cross-sell, loyalty, and win-back. Define and manage sophisticated segmentation and personalization frameworks using behavioral, transactional, and engagement data. Establish a rigorous testing and experimentation roadmap, optimizing subject lines, messaging, creative, cadence, and offers. Analyze performance trends and present insights, forecasts, and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Partner closely with creative, product, CX, and paid media teams to ensure cohesive, on-brand customer experiences. Oversee deliverability, compliance, and channel best practices (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, SMS consent management). Evaluate and implement new lifecycle tools, AI, and automation capabilities to stay ahead of industry trends. Mentor junior team members and set best practices for lifecycle execution and measurement. What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in email and SMS lifecycle marketing, ideally within eCommerce, beauty, wellness, or subscription brands. Advanced expertise in Klaviyo or comparable lifecycle platforms. Proven ability to drive revenue through lifecycle marketing with a strong understanding of LTV, retention, and cohort analysis. Exceptional copy and storytelling skills with a strong eye for design, UX, and conversion optimization. Highly analytical and comfortable working with dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and performance modeling. Experience with personalization, recommendation engines (e.g., Rebuy), and CDPs is a plus. Confident, proactive leader who thrives in a collaborative, in-house environment.
