Our Lamar office in Phoenix, Arizona is looking for a new Transit Sales Specialist Field to help bring innovative advertising campaigns to life in Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding areas.
The Local Sales Specialist role is to meet and exceed sales projections by selling transit advertising to qualified advertisers. The Transit & Airport division delivers street-level advertising to drivers and pedestrians in a fresh, non-conventional way and helps local, regional, and national advertisers reach their target audience on the go. The Local Sales Specialist acts as the communication conduit between all interested parties during the entire sales and service process, coordinating with local and Out of Market (OOM) Sales Account Executives in Lamar regions and National Sales Account Executives. $65,000- $75,000

Strong analytical skills Strong written (email) and verbal communication skills Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) Ability to learn and implement new computer applications quickly Ability to work independently and take initiative Problem solving Ability to utilize data management techniques and Gmail Education and experience
High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years of related experience preferred Experience in data management and Gmail preferred Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Please note:

Sell and manage account opportunities assigned by GM or SM Handle requests from Lamar Field Account Executives and NS Account Executives Meet and exceed sales objectives by promoting transit advertising Create contracts for campaigns and verify customer contracts for accuracy Serve as local expert for rate negotiations Compile, analyze, organize and translate proposal information between Lamar and customer systems Follow up on items required for Lamar Transit National Accounts or agencies Develop relationships with agencies that are OOM as permitted/requested Handle call-in requests, spreadsheets, and internal paperwork Secure holds on panels to complete paperwork with customers Oversee campaign execution (material tracking, posting, takedown, etc.) Distribute posting instructions to contracted markets and Traffic Coordinators Competitive Analysis Reporting and Post Buy Analysis to evaluate performance Track and update sales contracts, artwork, etc. Physical Demands and Work Environment
The primary work environment is an office. The job requires lifting
