Reports to: Area Vice President or Zone Manager The Regional Sales Manager leads a team of Territory Sales Managers and Business Development Managers within a defined region, overseeing executional discipline, people development, and performance accountability to deliver sales objectives and regional growth. Key Responsibilities
Hire, coach, lead, and manage a high-performing field sales team. Set regional sales goals, forecast performance, and ensure plan achievement. Conduct regular field rides to evaluate team effectiveness and provide coaching. Responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with regional customers Collaborate with marketing and trade/sales to support execution Required Skills/Abilities
The ideal candidate is a natural self-starter, insatiably curious, and has a strong desire to win. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and drive team results. Demonstrates ability to utilize various technology applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and proprietary CRM and data tracking technologies. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses strong organizational skills coupled with an attention to detail. Ability to get things done through others, by inspiring action and driving results through partnerships, and removing obstacles to success. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Build and foster strong relationships with team members. Maintain accurate and timely performance records for Direct Reports. This role is full-time, working in the field in an assigned territory. Minimum Time in Field – 4 days per week. Up to 50% Overnights – determined by Region. Possess a valid U.S driver’s license and safe driving record. Experience
