You will be focused on accelerating our sales pipeline in the form of prospecting new business opportunities, and actively taking part in setting goals, target markets, email blast messaging and campaign schedules. A key goal in 2025 is to further expand our advertiser footprint across Hearst Connecticut Media Group, and we are seeking a passionate and high-energy Sales Development Representative (Advertising Sales Assistant) to play a strategic role in accomplishing this objective. You will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, nurturing, and selling to high-quality leads that feed directly into our sales pipeline. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to execute targeted prospecting strategies, engage potential customers, and actively drive new business. This role will be hybrid, but you must be able to go into the office 3 days a week in the Albany, NY office. Responsibilities

Accelerate the sales pipeline through prospecting new business opportunities. Identify, qualify, nurture, and sell to high-quality leads that feed the sales pipeline. Work closely with Sales and Marketing to execute targeted prospecting strategies, engage potential customers, and actively drive new business. Assist in setting goals, target markets, email blast messaging, and campaign schedules. Be at the forefront of sales efforts with potential for career advancement to Sales Rep/Account Executive. Hybrid role requirement: able to work in the Albany, NY office three days per week. What’s in It for You

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst provides a reasonable estimate of compensation for this role in New York State: base $45,000 plus incentives based on performance.
