Position Summary The Customer Service/Sales Assistant will provide essential day-to-day administrative, operational, and customer service support to the G-III Sports sales team, including coordination with both internal sales and external independent representatives. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication and data management skills to ensure accurate and timely support to accounts.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support
Organize and maintain essential files and sales documentation
Manage incoming communication including email, calls, mail, and packages
Update account-specific templates for web copy and sales order support
Order Management
Enter and allocate new sales orders accurately in partnership with internal teams
Provide shipping status updates and communicate with internal stakeholders and customer partners
Customer Service
Process and manage return authorizations
Maintain and troubleshoot order status issues to ensure service standards are met
Education & Experience
2+ years of relevant administrative, sales support, or customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
Strong written and interpersonal communication
Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
Compensation Hourly Range:
$28.85 – $31.25
per hour.
Annual Equivalent: $60,000 – $65,000 (based on a 40-hour work week)
This range reflects a good-faith compensation estimate aligned with NYC Salary Transparency Law requirements.
