Account Executive / Director, IT Staffing - Charlotte, NC
MUST HAVE IT Staffing and experience supporting a Financial Services account.
Join a global IT staffing and consulting firm as an Account Executive / Director supporting a major Financial Services client. You’ll drive growth, strengthen key relationships, and expand service delivery across multiple technology functions.
This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional with a strong background in IT staffing and enterprise-level account management.
What You’ll Do Client Relationship & Growth
Build and maintain executive-level relationships within your client portfolio
Act as a trusted advisor, understanding business challenges and providing tailored solutions
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT staffing and consulting services
Sales Strategy & Process Optimization
Streamline the staffing process to secure exclusive engagements
Introduce new tools and workflows to increase sales efficiency
Partner with internal account managers to enhance the client experience
Leadership & Collaboration
Align with account teams on growth strategies and delivery execution
Mentor and develop junior account managers
Facilitate introductions to key client decision-makers and expand internal influence
Contracts & Analytics
Lead contract renewals and negotiations in line with client and company standards
Track and report on account metrics (revenue, satisfaction, growth)
Maintain CRM accuracy and update real-time account plans
What We’re Looking For
3–7+ years in IT staffing or professional services account management
Experience working with Financial Services clients
Proven track record in relationship development and revenue growth
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Based in Charlotte, NC — must be comfortable meeting clients in person
