Location: Remote, UT. Training is on-site at McKay-Dee Hospital. Shift Hours: PRN/Flexible. As our
Customer Service Representative , you’ll help patients check into the hospital. It’s fast-paced on occasion and you’ll be the person they rely on to answer questions during registration. You’ll build trust by collecting information accurately and quickly, and by listening with compassion to address fears, concerns, and questions. Be a confident multi-tasker who can adapt to technology quickly and can type and answer phones. Work in a hospital/lab environment and be prepared to see illness and injuries. You’ll be taught what you need to know, making this a good starting point to launch your healthcare career. Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment. You’ll input details across multiple screens and programs, and coordinate with clinicians during emergent clinical care interruptions. Assist patients who may be very ill or worried, asking follow-up questions and building rapport in real time to ease anxiety. Work in a fast-paced setting, often on your feet, to complete registrations and manage variations in health plans and coverage. Collaborate with a team that supports your career goals and view this as the first step of your healthcare career at R1 RCM Inc. Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Excellent customer service experience You must be up to date on all vaccinations, pass a drug test, and pass a background check prior to hire. The base pay range for this US-based position is $15.00 - $21.10 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
