
Responsibilities
Opportunity Management: Capture and organize customer requirements, including format, flavor, packaging, volume estimates, and timeline needs. Ensure information is accurately entered and shared with cross-functional partners.
Project Execution: Coordinate internally with teams such as R&D, Packaging, Logistics, and Finance to advance opportunities from intake to final customer delivery. Follow up to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Pricing & Samples: Support route approved pricing templates for internal input and approval, then deliver finalized pricing to brokers. Coordinate product samples and confirmation of receipt.
Customer & Broker Communication: Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts and broker partners in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and capture feedback throughout the process.
Market & Category Growth: Support the promotion of new product types within existing customer accounts and help bring core product lines to new geographies. Collaborate with brokers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Reporting & Closeout: Track opportunity status and ensure all updates are current. Provide regular pipeline updates to sales leadership and ensure each project is closed out with appropriate documentation.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in B2B account management, customer service, sales operations, or sales support, preferably within food manufacturing or CPG.
Experience working with brokers, distributors, or importers.
Knowledge of Canadian and/or Mexican retail or foodservice markets.
Strong organizational and follow-through skills; able to manage multiple opportunities at once.
Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
Familiarity with CRM or opportunity-tracking software and working knowledge of Excel.
Spanish or French proficiency is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
Office setting, with occasional factory floor and warehouse exposure.
Long periods of sitting and computer use are involved.
Products manufactured in the facility may contain peanuts, tree nuts, and other potential allergens.
