Position Summary The Sales Admin supports the Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Director of Sales by assisting with proposals, customer requests, lead management, and internal coordination. This role ensures timely communication, organization, and follow-through to help win projects and maintain strong customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Assist BDMs with proposals, customer requests, emails, and all sales-related support needed to secure projects
Reply to emails and correspondence as directed by BDMs
Assist BDMs in the field when required
Assist the Sales Director as needed
Review all sources of lead generation (i.e. ConstructConnect, etc.)
Organize and distribute new business leads to the appropriate BDM for follow-up
Collaborate with other SCM departments to ensure accurate and timely information is provided to customers and the sales team
Assist other Sales Administrators as needed
Prepare and manage a daily “to-do” list
Prioritize tasks according to urgency
Communicate actions, results, and/or delays to BDMs
Provide timely follow-up within SCM and with external stakeholders
Provide accurate and timely updates to BDMs on all pertinent activities
Provide a complete and accurate list of needs to both customers and other SCM departments
Communicate all issues or potential issues upfront to mitigate further problems
Qualifications
Experience in sales administration or business development support within construction, modular, or related industries
Strong understanding of construction sales processes, including lead generation platforms (e.g., ConstructConnect), proposals, and customer documentation
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, bids, and deadlines
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills to support BDMs, Sales Leadership, customers, and internal project teams
Ability to coordinate across estimating, operations, and other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely information for customers
Proactive problem-solver who communicates risks, issues, and status updates early to support successful project pursuit and execution

Schedule This is a full-time, exempt onsite position typically operating during standard business hours. However, flexibility is expected for client engagements, meetings, and events outside normal hours. Some business travel with occasional overnight travel to attend trade shows, conferences, and customer site visits.
Salary The salary range for this position is
$70,350 to $72,000 annually plus commission up to 15% of salary based on performance , commensurate with qualifications and experience. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, internal equity, and market data.
