Title: Business Development Representative Salary:
$40-50K DOE + commission (15%-20%uncapped after $5K recoverable seat cost) Location: Knoxville, TN Job Type:
Full-time, on-site (M-F 8-5) Overview: This role demands a highly motivated individual that is organized and detailed oriented to build/port a cradle-to-grave book of business in the freight brokerage industry. Responsibilities This position is cradle to grave sales (sales, operations, and customer service) This position requires sales calls daily. Build and manage a book of business by developing and maintaining customer relationships. Operational duties include dispatching drivers, rate quoting, negotiating, and customer service. Ability to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment. Must be able to make wise and profitable business decisions. You must care about your own success! Experience Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Trucking industry terminology a plus. Ability to multi-task and stay focused. Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. This position offers a competitive base salary(weekly) plus commission paid monthly!
