
Sales Representative (Hunter) - Oilfield Power

Our client is a Permian Basin-focused provider of turnkey natural gas power solutions to Operators in the field.
With a first-rate team, products, and service, our client is growing, and seeks a new Sales Representative, a true “Hunter”, for a pure new-business development opportunity responsible for acquiring new oilfield customers and expanding their footprint in the Permian Basin. This role is execution-driven, office-based, and requires aggressive prospecting, disciplined follow-up, and close coordination with operations to ensure profitable growth.
Responsibilities
A Prospect, identify, and acquire new oilfield customers Drive net-new revenue through cold outreach, networking, and field presence Qualify opportunities based on operational capacity and pricing guardrails Develop and present pricing proposals within approved parameters Coordinate new customer onboarding with operations Maintain accurate and timely CRM records and pipeline reporting Meet or exceed new-customer and revenue targets Represent NGPS professionally with E&P and oilfield service customers Participate in in-office sales meetings and planning sessions Qualifications & Skillsets
A 3–7 years of oilfield, energy, or industrial sales experience with a hunter focus Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition Performance-driven with strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills Comfortable operating in a structured, in-office environment Excel at building strong, lasting relationships with both internal and external customers Strong written and verbal communication skills to connect with a diverse audience Ability to work cross-functionally with operations Willingness to work in-office 4–5 days per week A self-starter who can seamlessly work independently and collaboratively
