
Sales Manager - Oilfield Power

Our client is a Permian Basin-focused provider of turnkey natural gas power solutions utilizing a full suite of in-house products and services to Operators in the field.
With a first-rate team, products, and service, they are growing, and have created a new Sales Manager role to lead and manage the oilfield sales team to drive profitable, disciplined growth aligned with operational capacity. The Sales Manager will be an effective seller, with relationships and knowledge of Production operations, as well as a true Manager who can lead, manage, and develop/coach Sales Representative to new levels of revenue generation. This is a hands-on, in-office leadership role requiring close coordination with operations and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development guidance to sales team members. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and contract renewal within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets Responsible for account and relationship development and management, at all levels in the customer organization Enforce pricing discipline within approved margin guardrails Coordinate closely with operations on capacity and deployments Own sales forecasts, pipeline accuracy, and CRM discipline Participate in key customer negotiations and escalations Develop and execute territory and account strategies Support EVP on strategic accounts and initiatives Qualifications
7+ years of oilfield, energy, or industrial sales experience Prior experience managing or leading sales teams Strong understanding of oilfield operations and customer expectations Production-related experience is highly desirable Proven ability to sell value-based, recurring service solutions Highly accountable, disciplined, and team-oriented Willingness to work in-office 4–5 days per week Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and CRM experience Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools Required Skills
