This is our guiding compass to grow something great and make life delicious! This Customer Sales Manager (CSM) position embodies that ambition. You will own and be responsible for selling and executing across various categories, accounting for a portion of the $180 in revenue within NY as a vital member of the team. The CSM serves as the liaison between Kraft Heinz and Customer Category Managers at NY independent retailers & wholesale customers, leading all selling activities and driving efforts tied to improving gross margin and market share. The CSM aims to deliver revenue and share objectives, pursue business growth strategies, provide category management expertise, and ensure that coordinated cross-functional sales value is delivered to the customer through the sales plan and shelving objectives. Due to customer connectivity, this role needs to be located in or around New York or New Jersey.
Responsibilities
Effectively partner with the customer, building rapport at all levels to fully understand their business, the marketplace, and drive positive business growth
Own customer relationships, ensuring joint winning plans to be an indispensable partner
Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives (Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, Optimal Shelving)
Lead the implementation of Space Management Projects
Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, and selling events while implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories
Work with the Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives
Collaborate cross-functionally to manage execution of all assigned category objectives
Drive efficient trade programs to deliver value and manage volume and trade promotion spending within budget
Maintain files and business documentation detailing business transactions
Experience & Required Skills
Proven experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company
Demonstrated ability to own business processes and Category management in a complex Sales role with at least $20 million in managed business
Proven ability to manage and balance a large trade and expense budget
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and proprietary Sales systems (e.g., IRI, Spark)
Customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
Ability to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities autonomously within a CBT framework
Polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation) with the ability to negotiate and influence
Strong analytical skills; experience using syndicated or ambiguous data to develop business plans and influence customer to achieve category objectives
Willingness to travel to customer meetings and events as needed

Compensation & Benefits New Hire Base Salary Range $104,200.00 - $130,200.00 Bonus
This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
