Senior Architectural Designer / Project Architect
– Garnett DePasquale Projects (G.DP), New York City / Hybrid
Garnett DePasquale Projects is seeking a thoughtful, highly capable architectural designer with
7–10 years of relevant professional experience
to join our studio. We are a design-focused practice working across high-end residential, cultural, and institutional projects, with an emphasis on clarity, craft, and long-term value. This role is ideal for someone who is an excellent communicator, a strong teammate, and a self-directed manager of both their own work and the work of others.
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to projects from early design through construction
Develop clear, well-coordinated drawing sets and design documentation
Manage day-to-day project progress, schedules, and internal coordination
Communicate effectively with principals, consultants, and clients
Mentor and collaborate with junior staff
Participate in design discussions with confidence and curiosity
Support construction administration, including site visits and coordination
Qualifications
7–10 years of professional experience in architecture, with relevant experience in design-focused practices
Strong design sensibility paired with technical rigor
Demonstrated ability to manage time, scope, and priorities independently
Experience coordinating with consultants and reviewing consultant drawings
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Comfort working both autonomously and collaboratively
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Revit experience a plus
Professional degree in Architecture
Licensure is a plus; candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged
Current Focus of the Role The immediate need in the office is for someone comfortable taking on a
documentation- and coordination-heavy role , with exposure to client communication and construction administration. The position offers meaningful responsibility and growth across all phases of work.

$82,000–$98,000, commensurate with experience
