Senior Credit Associate
to support and protect portfolio performance by managing credit exposure, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and insurance requirements. This role is ideal for a credit professional who can independently manage a complex credit portfolio, balance approvals with risk mitigation, and collaborate closely with internal teams to support cash flow and long-term client success. RESPONSIBILITES
Manage and monitor credit exposure for an assigned portfolio of client accounts Review, approve, and adjust credit limits while maintaining disciplined risk controls Analyze financial statements to assess customer creditworthiness Identify accounts requiring increased oversight and take proactive action Coordinate with credit insurance providers and factoring partners Address insurance rescissions and policy compliance matters Process changes to invoice terms and approved credit when necessary Serve as a point of contact for credit-related client and internal inquiries Collaborate with collections to align credit strategy and recovery efforts Maintain accurate records of credit decisions, communications, and account activity Ensure timely and accurate updates across internal credit systems REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in credit, receivables finance, factoring, or financial services Strong understanding of credit insurance, risk mitigation, and portfolio management Proven ability to independently manage high-volume and complex credit queues Experience analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
