About the role The EP Division within Rhythm Solutions supports and treats patients with the most common heart arrhythmia – atrial fibrillation. The Field Training Lead supports the growth of a best-in-market EP Field Force through robust training and continuous development. The trainer in this role provides consistent and effective sales training to all new hires in their respective areas through the mapping certification pathway with innovative and scalable methods.

This role focuses on existing technologies such as the OPAL HDx Mapping System and the newly approved FARAPULSE PFA System, which has quickly become a market leading technology since its launch in February.

Minimum 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

Develop and train new hires through the entire mapping certification training pathway.

Develop and execute the EP Field Training Program(s) for all technology across EP.

Continuous communication and partnership with the field, Sales Training Team, and various business units across Cardiology.

Refine certification process for each technology.

Daily collaboration with various business units across Cardiology.

Support local COT program and sites.

Support in-house EP training classroom programs.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years mapping experience or 5 years EP/lab experience with technical/clinical proficiency.

Experience teaching, coaching, educating peers, personnel, and other technical support.

High energy, ability to work in ultra-fast-paced environment.

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships among peers and colleagues.

Work collaboratively within the team and with other business functions.

Continuous improvement mindset; ability to identify gaps and needs for new hire training.

Ability to tailor training materials to specific audiences.

Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with outside vendors and consultants.

Basic competency on Microsoft Office 365 products.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Boston Scientific EP products, specifically the OPAL HDx system.

Extensive transseptal, AF and/or imaging experience.

Education experience within healthcare or the medical device industry.

Self-starter with ability to manage projects from concept to fully executed programs.

Ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.

Ability to prioritize projects based on business need.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation This is a remote position. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
