Overview

The Michigan State Lottery is seeking a dependable, honest, motivated, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and strong ethical standards to join our team. The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing digital content across the Lottery’s owned digital channels, including the primary website, mobile applications, and the Retailer Wizard portal. This role ensures that all CMS-based content is accurate, compliant, and visually consistent while supporting digital personalization efforts through Bloomreach. This position serves as a bridge between Advertising and Promotions, Product Development, and technical teams by executing content updates, scheduling campaigns, and assisting in the setup of personalized or targeted user experiences. It also acts as a liaison between the website/app vendor and the Lottery and is responsible for reviewing and budgeting development hours and sprints. Responsibilities

Maintain and optimize digital content across the Michigan Lottery’s owned digital channels (website, mobile apps, and Retailer Wizard portal). Ensure CMS-based content is accurate, compliant, and visually consistent. Support digital personalization efforts through Bloomreach. Coordinate with Advertising and Promotions, Product Development, and technical teams to execute content updates and schedule campaigns. Assist in the setup of personalized or targeted user experiences. Serve as a liaison between the website/app vendor and the Lottery. Review and budget development hours and sprints. Qualifications

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major. Experience: Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level. Background and Compliance

To be considered for this position, you must meet the initial background check requirements. Pre-employment drug testing is required in accordance with Civil Service regulations; a urine sample must be provided within 24 hours and may take up to 3 hours to complete. Refusal to test or failure to provide a sufficient specimen may result in withdrawal of an offer. Positions within the Bureau of State Lottery require a criminal history background check.
