Federal SF330 Proposal & Marketing Specialist
Location: Irvine / Orange County, CA (Hybrid)
Term: Full-Time Contract (3-Month Minimum, Strong Potential to Extend)
Compensation: $40–$55/hr (DOE)
Are you a federal A/E proposal expert who thrives under deadlines, loves crafting winning SF330s, and knows the difference between USACE, NAVFAC, and VA evaluation styles? Do you want to take ownership of high-profile federal submissions for a firm with a long-standing footprint in the public sector? If so, this opportunity was designed for you.
Why This Role Stands Out
You’ll shape high-visibility federal proposals for major agencies (USACE, NAVFAC, VA, AFCEC, DOI).
You’ll lead proposal strategy — not just formatting.
You’ll work directly with senior architects, engineers, and federal pursuit teams.
You’ll own the narrative for qualifications-based selection (QBS) wins.
You’ll operate with autonomy and authority to drive the proposal process.
This is a rare chance to take the reins of federal proposal production for a firm that values quality, precision, and strong marketing leadership.
What You’ll Do – SF330 Leadership
Develop complete SF330 Part I submissions, including Sections E, F, G, and H.
Build + maintain compliance matrices and proposal shells.
Tailor narratives to specific agency evaluation criteria.
Compliance & Coordination
Audit, rewrite, and format subconsultant resumes and Part IIs.
Manage teaming partner deadlines and ensure 100% solicitation alignment.
Coordinate PPQs for projects lacking CPARS ratings.
High-End Marketing Production
Produce polished brochures, SOQs, capability statements, and award entries.
Maintain project sheets and resume libraries in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Assist with light digital branding (website/LinkedIn) during proposal lulls.
Capture & Pipeline Support
Monitor SAM.gov + federal forecasts to identify upcoming pursuits.
Support GSA Schedule updates when needed.
What We’re Looking For – MUST-HAVES (Non-Negotiable)
3–5+ years in an Architecture or Engineering firm (AEC only)
Expert-level experience developing SF330 Part I
Power user of Adobe InDesign (Creative Cloud)
Experience with USACE, VA, NAVFAC proposals
Proven ability to manage subconsultants, teaming partners, and Part IIs
Strong understanding of Brooks Act / FAR Part 36 compliance
If you cannot explain how Sections E, F, and G work together — this role is not the right fit.
NICE-TO-HAVES
CPSM or LEED Green Associate
Experience with JV / Mentor-Protégé submissions
Past award submission experience (AIA, SMPS, DBIA)
Light digital marketing experience
Ideal Candidates Often Hold Titles Like:
Federal Proposal Specialist
A/E Marketing Coordinator
SF330 Writer / Graphics Lead
Proposal Manager (A/E/C)
