Midpoint Salary:

$144,372

Maximum Consideration:

Up to $160,000, based on years of relevant experience

Bonus Structure:

Eligible for an annual performance bonus ranging from 17.5% to 26.25%, contingent on hospital performance

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Emergency Services. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Emergency Department (ED), including operations, staffing, patient care standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily operations of a 16-bed Emergency Department, including 4 fast-track beds

Direct and support approximately 60 current FTEs, with an expected increase to 90 FTEs following an upcoming departmental restructuring

Oversee additional teams, including transport services, trauma services, stroke program, and monitor technicians

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care

Foster a culture of performance improvement and patient-centered care

Collaborate with senior leadership and report directly to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO)

Facility Highlights:

ED Volume: Approximately 40,000 visits annually (avg. 120 visits per day)

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Proven leadership experience as an Emergency Department Director or Manager (in a high-volume or large facility)

Strong clinical knowledge, operational expertise, and team leadership capabilities
