Brief Description As a Digital Specialist, you will collaborate closely with other digital team members to execute industry-leading digital advertising strategies for clients. Working alongside the Manager, Paid Media, Digital Team Leadership, and other members of the Digital & Account Teams, this role helps to execute and manage paid search, social, display, email marketing, and SMS initiatives. The Specialist is actively involved in the day‑to‑day execution of digital advertising and messaging campaigns, partnering with account teams to ensure performance goals are met. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate tracking and monitoring of results, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing continuous in‑platform improvements to drive ongoing success for each client’s online marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include reporting, goal tracking, issue identification and resolution, analytics analysis, and continuous optimization across digital channels.

Your Impact

Set up, track, optimize, and manage digital advertising, email, and SMS campaigns for multiple clients across multiple platforms, leveraging Google Analytics, Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, and various attribution, CRM, and data visualization tools.

Analyze campaign performance using individual ad platform analytics, email and SMS performance metrics, Google Analytics, and attribution tools to measure effectiveness and inform optimization efforts.

Assist in the creation of strategic plans and recommendations, automation opportunities, and ongoing testing and optimization initiatives.

Recommend landing pages, conversion elements, and calls‑to‑action to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Research and select pertinent keywords, bid strategies, create text ad copy, and determine optimal landing pages for search campaigns, while also supporting email subject lines, message copy, and send‑time optimization.

Ensure performance best practices are followed for social and display creative, including static and rich banner ads, as well as email and SMS templates, creative formats, and landing pages.

Manage ad budgets, targeting, email and SMS audience segmentation, A/B testing of ad and message creative, and tracking and optimization toward conversion goals identified by the Digital Advertising Manager.

Regularly review clients’ existing paid digital media, email, and SMS campaigns to identify and resolve potential issues, and recommend immediate and long‑term strategic improvements.

Make recommendations for new campaigns and opportunities to expand lifecycle marketing efforts, including scaling email and SMS programs and integrating them with paid media initiatives.

Stay informed of industry trends and best practices across paid media, email marketing, and SMS, and apply learnings to client accounts.

Your Profile

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

Minimum of 2-3 years’ digital marketing experience

Experience giving ad creative direction, copywriting, and executing ad campaigns across multiple platforms (incl. FB/IG, paid search, display)

Experience with search marketing applications, tools, web analytics and bid management software. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager experience preferred.

Experience running ad campaigns of varying budgets – managing spend rates, bidding, and overall budgets across platforms.

Experience at a small‑medium sized agency and comfort with changing processes while scaling.

Understanding of PPC & SEM (including Google, Google Grants and Bing), display/programmatic and social advertising with a track record of delivering success through these techniques

Email & SMS Campaign Management: Ability to execute, and optimize email and SMS campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle messaging across multiple platforms.

Audience Segmentation & Personalization: Strong understanding of list management, segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Compliance & Best Practices: Knowledge of email and SMS regulations and best practices (e.g., CAN‑SPAM, TCPA, GDPR), including consent management, deliverability standards, and message frequency controls.

Strong Excel skills.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and resources in a deadline‑driven environment.

Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and suggest strategies based on data.
