General Summary:
As a member of the Product Management team, directs a comprehensive product strategy with emphasis on GenAI technology and mapping it to HW & SW to drive product conception and definition through end of life. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong understanding of the challenges and best practices of deploying GenAI systems at scale for efficient inference at data center.
Deep knowledge of neural network algorithms, trends in the ML space, and challenges associated with deployment.
Ability to drive system‑level analysis of GenAI models and understand associated trade‑offs on model size, performance, accuracy/quality, power, and benchmarks toward defining HW/SW roadmaps.
5+ years of Product Management or related work experience. Solid understanding of machine learning (ML) models and inferencing techniques on general‑purpose and domain‑specific accelerators – NPU.
5+ years of product management or engineering development experience for ecosystem, product development process, release cadence, and geo‑specific partners.
Experience with inference serving, vLLM, and PyTorch 2.x stack and deploying GenAI solutions leveraging these technologies at hyperscalers.
Experience training and/or deploying deep learning applications across ASIC engines.
Background with different AI SW stack solutions including Qualcomm and other industry players in Mobile, IoT, Automotive or Industrial markets would be a strong value add.
Experience in Agentic AI, Hybrid AI design would be a strong plus.
Execution oriented and track record of driving on‑time deliverables to customers with aggressive schedules.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Defining ML inference optimization solutions roadmap encompassing AI/GenAI technology, HW, SW across multiple platforms and product lines.
Consistently and sustainably advance the state of AI, including setting and executing against roadmaps for 6‑month plus timeframes.
Work toward long‑term ambitious research, development and productization goals, planning and successfully executing intermediate milestones with various internal stakeholders.
Define use cases and develop methodology and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches.
Prepare and deliver highly complex technical presentations regarding state of the art in AI, take the lead on development and design innovation of new and complex products to articulate differentiation to customers and identify trends.
Translate customer feedback and external environment into potential changes for the differentiated product roadmap and communicate this to senior leaders.
Ensure successful cross‑functional collaboration by ensuring that agreed upon KPIs and specifications are met for a new, complex product(s) upon delivery by engineering team.
Work and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, build relationships with stakeholders and provide this information to guide design conversations.
Complete product development and definition activities for a new or highly complex owned product, including determination of cost and impact, and interact with sales team to generate forecasts.
Hold self and team(s) accountable for remaining up‑to‑date on competitors, technological advances, and the product ecosystem and take the lead on development and design innovation of new and complex products to articulate differentiation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
