Job Overview CORE Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead the on‑site execution of large‑scale commercial construction projects in the Reno, NV region. This role is responsible for coordinating all phases of the construction process—from ground‑breaking through final closeout—ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep construction expertise and a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach. Projects range from K–12 schools and higher education facilities to healthcare and civic buildings, typically valued at $10 million and above.

Key Responsibilities Provide on‑site leadership for all phases of commercial construction projects.
Coordinate and coach subcontractors on safe construction practices.
Monitor jobsite safety, quality, and compliance with CORE standards and OSHA regulations.
Maintain and manage the project schedule, identifying the critical path for all trades and vendors.
Facilitate subcontractor coordination, driving project momentum and resolving conflicts.
Review project drawings, specifications, RFIs, ASIs, and submittals for accuracy and constructability.
Conduct quality control reviews and ensure timely correction of subcontractor deficiencies.
Work with owners, architects, and engineers to overcome challenges and unforeseen conditions.
Generate detailed daily progress reports and provide weekly schedule updates.
Uphold CORE’s culture of professionalism, communication, and excellence on‑site.
Qualifications Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory superintendent role.
Proven success managing commercial projects valued at $10M+.
Expertise in construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
Strong understanding of RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and project specifications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore.
Experience with CMAR and/or Design‑Build delivery methods.
Committed to working in a team environment with a client‑first approach.
Willingness to travel within the state of Nevada as needed.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
