Key Account Manager – Smart Transportation – Poland
As Key Account Manager for Transportation, you will develop and grow Advantech’s business across Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on Railway, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Smart Mobility. You will drive strategic accounts and long-cycle projects, supporting Advantech’s Transportation growth starting in 2026. The role requires strong engagement with OEMs, System Integrators, Software Providers, Operators, and Public Authorities, addressing both regional and cross-border Transportation programs.
Your responsibility Reporting to the Transportation Sales Director, you will:
Develop and maintain existing key and strategic Transportation accounts across Central and Eastern Europe
Identify, qualify, and lead complex, project-based opportunities, from early design-in and specification phases to deployment and lifecycle expansion
Build and execute account development plans, including customer mapping, opportunity prioritization, and revenue forecasting
Drive engagement with OEMs, System Integrators, Operators, Infrastructure Managers, and Authorities at technical, commercial, and executive levels
Coordinate closely with FAEs, Product Sales, Marketing, Inside Sales, and ecosystem partners to deliver complete, value-based solutions
Leverage the Poland Service Center for engineering support, customization, testing, certification support, and lifecycle services
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer roadmaps to support Transportation go-to-market strategy
Represent Advantech at customer workshops, project reviews, tenders, and industry events
Who are you?
Engineering or technical degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in Key Account Management or Business Development within Transportation, Rail, ITS, or Industrial IoT
Proven experience managing long decision cycles, multi-stakeholder environments, and project-driven business
Solid understanding of Industrial PCs, Edge Computing, Connectivity, and software-enabled Transportation platforms
Ability to articulate technical value into business outcomes
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Fluent in English and Polish; additional Eastern European languages are a plus
Willingness to travel regularly across Eastern Europe
Preferably located near Warsaw
