We welcome people who have a passion for ingenuity, perseverance, and pride, and who love innovation and the satisfaction of knowing their work matters.**Qualifications*** Read, understand and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports* Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls and mains, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.* Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by brazing, gluing, soldering and threading joints.* Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets and/or Unistrut.* Trouble problems in the piping systems we build.* Install automatic controls used to regulate hydronic and refrigerant systems.* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.* High School Diploma or Equivalent* Ability to work 10–12-hour shifts* Competency in selecting pipe type, size and related materials, such as supports, hangers per job specifications.**Essential Mental Functions**:* Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.* Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.* Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities.* Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.* Works effectively in a team environment.* Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.**Essential Physical Functions**:* Lift up to 50lbs.* Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.* Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.**Disclaimer**:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
