Edelman Smithfield offers a deep bench of approximately 250 financial market specialists across more than 25 cities and 15 countries.* Create, build, edit, and maintain high-quality client presentation decks, including investor presentations and other financial communications materials.* Design and manage reusable templates for clients and internal teams, including PowerPoint decks, written memos, and social media templates.* Support the ongoing evolution and elevation of Edelman Smithfield’s marketing and brand creative across digital and presentation formats.* Translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, visually compelling design for niche financial audiences.* Organize and maintain design files, templates, and assets to support efficient workflows and consistency across projects.* Collaborate closely with client service and strategy teams to execute creative work accurately, on brand, and on deadline.* Stay current on design and presentation best practices to continuously improve quality, clarity, and visual impact.* A portfolio demonstrating presentation design, templates, and digital creative work.* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.* Prior exposure to financial services, asset management, ESG, or crisis communications is a plus.$65,000 - $75,000 per year#LI-JLFAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer eager to learn and grow through close collaboration with a lead creative strategist, with increasing ownership over presentation design, template development, and brand execution over time. The position is highly execution-focused and well-suited for someone who enjoys building, editing, and refining polished, repeatable creative assets. **Responsibilities** **Basic Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.1+ years of experience in digital design, presentation design, or related creative roles, with a strong focus on execution and production. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience within an agency or in-house marketing/communications environment. Strong working proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; motion/video tools a plus). Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint; basic proficiency in Excel for working with data tables and supporting data visualization. Experience using Canva for template-based or quick-turn design work.Strong communicator who is receptive to feedback and eager to develop new skills over time.
